Well that’s Panda a Pandino Team Italia 90 finally signing off. After 21 days on the road we are home, the little 750 panda has covered a total of 3733 miles!

We have visited 13 countries (Scotland, England, France, Germany, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Luxembourg, Belgium & The Netherlands) and used 77.88 gallons of fuel to do it - returning a pretty respectable 48 MPG overall.

Apart from a dodgy fuel sender meaning we ran out of fuel up a mountain in Liechtenstein (with George almost getting arrested) and the welds on the new exhaust centre pipe failing on a slip road in Bergamo it has been totally incident and trouble free - quite amazing really.

We have met some wonderful people, seen some great places and raised some money for Prostate cancer with the other amazing teams from the UK, who were a complete delight to be with.

This was my favourite pic of the trip… apparently an Italian team put their fingers up at George (I don’t think with any hostility!) as we waited for the McDonalds drive through record attempt (see Also Driven’s YouTube video) and he retaliated in a truly British way. The moment was captured unbeknownst to us and for me becomes the iconic picture in my camera roll of the trip.

I encourage everyone to get out in your Pandas and see new places, however far away they may be.

My time in Zürich was short, too short, but I did get to visit Villa Algonquin which is located near some friends I was visiting in a breathtaking position on Lake Zürich… this was home to Tina Turner until he death last year.
